Day 10 Westport to Murchison ( 97 km)

Day 10
Day 10

Up the Buller Gorge.

Once again the team worked together as a unit.  We covered 97 km in exactly 4 hours. A look at the day’s profile shows what an up and down day it was with leg sucking undulations all day.  All riders pulled up fit and generally healthy.

Up and down all day

The Buller Gorge

Our accommodation in Murchison proved a pleasant surprise. We are staying in an old, quaint federation cottage which has an earthquake type slope in flooring, probably dating back to the 1929 EQ.

Lilla

With little else to report today, I thought I would introduce you to Lilla.  At  not yet 4 years of age, Lilla is the youngest member of the road crew.
